It is required that all facilities that produce any volume of medical waste be registered as a medical waste producing facility.

Medical Waste Management Plan

It is required that all medical waste producing facilities list and describe the type of medical waste they are producing, the method of packing, storage, treatment and disposal used for each type of medical waste.

Blood-borne Pathogens Training

It is required for all employees handling blood-borne pathogens. It must be documented according to the facilities medical waste management plan and available upon inspection.
